Burak Tanyıldız, M.D., is a specialist in ophthalmology with a focus on corneal transplantation, anterior segment surgery, and uveitis. He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine and completed his ophthalmology residency at İstanbul University İstanbul Faculty of Medicine in 2014. He has extensive surgical experience in corneal transplantation, with over 1,000 procedures performed. Dr. Tanyıldız has served as the Medical Director of the Cornea Bank at Kartal Dr. Lütfi Kırdar City Hospital and has contributed to numerous national and international peer-reviewed scientific publications. He joined Acıbadem Healthcare Group in 2025 and currently provides services at Acıbadem Kartal Hospital. His clinical interests include corneal transplantation, complex cataract and anterior segment surgery, refractive surgery (PRK and LASIK), uveitis management, and ocular surface tumors.
