Prof. Bilgi Baca, M.D. is a general surgeon with two decades of experience in the field of obesity surgery. He has graduated from Istanbul University Medical Faculty in 1996 and completed his residency in General Surgery at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty in 2003. Prof. Baca became an Associate Professor at the same faculty in 2009.
He worked at world-renowned Southern California University, Keck School of Medicine in Los Angeles, specializing in colon and rectum surgery from 2009 to 2010.
He became a professor at Acıbadem University and he still continues his duty as a lecturer at Acıbadem University Medical Faculty and as the Chief of the General Surgery department of Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital.
